Looking at marvelous Bykovyna lands reminds of a wise truth, that a good owner has a good harvest. A bright example of this is the work of Agrofirma Orshivska Ltd., headed by Mykola Cheredaryk, which agricultural activity proves to be the most successful in Kytsman region. New cultivated areas, well-planned technologies, support to the social sphere of the region. Leaving aside a number of potential investors the enterprise showed its confidence in Svarog West Group Corporation, this being much pleasing to the administration of the latter. The director of the agrofirm concerning their activity:
- Our enterprise has started its work in 1949 on 1500 hectares of land. At the dawn of the Ukrainian independence we decided to transform into a joint-stock. As a result we had 1300 share-holders. Later, in 1999, the form of enterprise was re-changed again into an agricultural corporative. New lands were added – from 1280 to 4 000 hectares. We also heightened the amount of cattle up to 2700 heads. In spite of a number of hardships the results were quite satisfactory. We became a regional leader in all the spheres of agriculture. Still, the technological progress went straight forward and we felt the need in modern machinery and techniques, and therefore new investments. A number of business structures offered their support. Evident was their interest only into rental moments. Completely different was the situation with the Svarog West Group Corporation, which in addition had particular strategies for supporting the social sphere of the village and developing its infrastructure in general. We look forward to fruitful and successful cooperation.
