«Svarog West Group» corporation once again took active part in 21th «AGRO-2009» agro-fair which housed in two huge metropolitan areas - National Complex «Expocentre of Ukraine» and exhibition complex «Chubinske». «AGRO-2009» was visited by more than 25 thousand visitors only during the first day. However, flow of visitors did not decrease during the next three days.
It is nice to admit that the high-ranking officials also paid their attention to such an event. President of Ukraine Viktor Yuschenko, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, Agrarian Policy Minister Yuri Melnik and many others were present at the opening ceremony of the exhibition-fair.
This year the representatives of corporation had the opportunity to review the proposals of more than 2000 Ukrainian and 200 foreign companies from Russia, Belarus, Moldova, Germany, Denmark, Czech Republic, Holland, France, Poland, China, as well as dealers of foreign firms working in the agroindustrial complex of Ukraine.
Roundtable discussions themed «Development of the agro-food cooperation between Ukraine and the EU» was quite a busy and fruitful, as well as conference «Improving the efficiency and productivity of agro-industrial complex of Ukraine: introducing German experience».
We should note that field testing of the agricultural systems, machinery and equipment, specialized conferences and workshops, master classes, round tables and talks with the participation of Ukrainian producers and foreign partners, a series of demonstrations, as well as sales of techniques and breeding animals were conducted during "Agro-2009".
While the delegates from the technical and plant departments visited the exhibition to get acquainted with novelties and to strengthen business relationship with their partners, the livestock industry department of the corporation directly participated in the fair displaying best Ukrainian red-pock-marked cattle which are grown in «Orshivska» argofirm, Chernivtsi region.
In general, concerning the impressions of the exhibition, the staff of «Svarog» felt very confident almost everywhere, they met friends and partners, also the best examples of machinery seen on the fair had been used in our fields for about a year.
The feeling of prosperity in the daily routine allows be proud of the corporation and the team, which created a decent environment for achieving high performance. With such thoughts our delegation returned from Kiev to re-engage actively in the business of the corporation.
